Privacy Policy

FixMyDocs (“FixMyDocs,” “we,” “us”) provides free, browser-based tools for fixing, converting, and resizing documents and images. This page explains what happens to your files and your data when you use the site.
Files you upload
When you upload a file to one of our tools, it is sent to our server, processed in memory, and the result is returned directly to your browser for download. We do not write uploaded files or their results to a database or persistent storage, and we do not review, share, or use them for any purpose other than generating the result you requested. Once your request completes, the file is discarded along with the rest of that request’s memory.
Because nothing is stored, we cannot retrieve a file for you after the fact, and we have nothing to hand over even if asked to — there is no backup or archive of uploaded content to search.
Website usage data
We use Google Tag Manager to load basic website analytics (for example, which pages are visited, approximate location derived from IP address, device/browser type, and referring site). Depending on how that analytics tooling is configured, it may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. We use this information in aggregate to understand how the site is used and to fix problems — not to build a profile tied to your name or to sell it to third parties.
We do not require an account to use any tool on this site, so we do not collect names, passwords, or payment information.
Third-party services
The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard web request data (such as IP address and request logs) as part of operating the hosting infrastructure. Analytics run through Google Tag Manager, as described above. We do not sell personal data to data brokers or advertisers.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you (for example, under GDPR in the EU/UK or similar state privacy laws in the US). Since we don’t store uploaded files or maintain user accounts, there is generally very little data to act on — but if you have a question about analytics data or anything else on this page, contact us at support@fixmydocs.org and we’ll do our best to help.
Children’s privacy
FixMyDocs is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page from time to time as the site changes. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
